to building quality homes to the highest standards. Both Tammy and
Joe were raised in the Columbia area, have been married 16 years and
have three children. They reside in West Columbia and have an office
in Lexington. They are both very proud of the Columbia Metropolitan
area and have a strong sense of loyalty to this community. Both realize
their reputation as quality and honest builders is extremely important
and this helps guide them in their daily decisions. It is never forgotten
by either of them that a home is often the most substantial investment
for an individual. It is their belief that the building process should
be a pleasant experience and both work hard to make this a priority
in their day to day dealings with homeowners. In their efforts to
build quality homes, they have uncompromising standards.
Tammy is a second generation builder. Her father, Gene Ford, has been
a local builder in the Columbia area and was instrumental in both
her decision to embark on this career and provided a guiding hand
when this company was started in 1999. Joe is a licensed mechanical
engineer by both education and training have earned his B.S. from
the University of South Carolina in 1990 and his M.S. from the University
of Illinois in 1992. Joe worked locally as a consulting engineer prior
to joining his wife Tammy in building homes. Have the ability to draw
on both years of experience in the building industry and an engineering
background makes this a unique and capable team.

Interior designer, Susie Revere is a graduate of the University of
South Carolina and a Winthrop University attendee. She teamed up with
Christy Bogle in 1999, when she joined Creative Concepts Interior
Design. Susie has extensive experience in the residential interior
design business and has received numerous awards for her work. Some
of these awards include the Parade of Homes People’s Choice Award
and the Critics’ Choice Award, as well as the HBA’s REGAL Award for
Best Interior Merchandising. Susie has worked closely with Vesta Builders,
Tammy Jur, for several years on design projects. Susie’s vision for
“The Saluda” was a warm, fall color scheme with a harmonious mix of
classic and casual elements.
